Naile Selimaj - KrasniqiNAILE SELIMAJ - KRASNIQI is the CHIEF EXECUTIVE of the IMC, in her fourth mandate.

The Chief Executive Officer leads the Executive Office, the second IMC body, which assists the Commission to accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the IMC.
  • Naile Selimaj-Krasniqi was born on May 19, 1978 in the village of Novo Selo, Municipality of Peja.
  • She has finished the Faculty of Philology, Department English Language and Literature, at the University of Prishtina in February 2004.
  • She has finished her Master Degree in September 2007 in the field of Educational Leadership; in the Faculty of Education at the University of Calgary in Canada.
  • Since 2015 she has been a candidate for the Doctoral Program in Communication Sciences (PhD), Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana.
  • She has been appointed by the IMC Council in the position of Chief Executive Officer in October 2006 with a 3 year mandate and currently is  serving as Executive Chief in the fourth mandate since April 2016; In November 2009 was renamed to this post in her second mandate to continue with the third mandate since February 2013;
  • In 2014 and 2015 was also engaged as lecturer at the University of Prishtina, Department of Communication and Journalism at the Faculty of Philology;
  • From July 2003 to November 2006 she has worked in the Office of the Temporary Media Commissioner in the position of Head of the Licensing Division;
  • From January 2002 to June 2003 she has worked as a Senior Licensing Officer, at the      Office of the Media Commissioner (OSCE Mission in Kosovo);
  • From November 1999 to December 2001, Senior Licensing Assistant, Media Departmen of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo,
  • From July 1999 to October 1999, assistant and trainer of journalists of Radio Prishtina and Kosovo Television.
She is married and has two children.
