The Independent Media Commission (IMC), today was informed unofficially that a public official of the Executive Office of the IMC was detained last night by law enforcement and judiciary institutions, on suspicion of the criminal offense - bribery.

Concerned about this news, we invite the justice institutions to deal with the case until it is fully clarified, in order to clarify the public opinion, but also us within the IMC.

The IMC expresses its readiness to provide full cooperation with the judiciary institution in order to assist in the conduct of investigations until the end of the case.
