The Independent Media Commission (IMC) held an extraordinary meeting today, where it discussed the situation created in the Executive Office after the detention by the justice institutions of two public officials of the Executive Office of the IMC.

In this meeting, the Commission has reviewed the issue of the Chief Executive Officer and after the review has decided that the Chief Executive Officer of the IMC Mr. Luan Latifi be SUSPENDED from exercising his duty, until another decision.

The Commission has also decided that Mr. Faruk Rexhaj, Director of the Procurement Department, be appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Office of the IMC, from July 2, 2021 until another decision.

While today after the appointment as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Executive Office of the IMC, Mr. Faruk Rexhaj has decided that the Director of Administration and Finance, Mr. Arben Bilalli, will be SUSPENDED from exercising his duty, until another decision.
