The Independent Media Commission held today a working meeting with the organization Democracy for Development as well as representatives of the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the implementation of possible activities between the IMC and Democracy for Development, related to combating fake news and misinformation. The meeting also discussed the possibility of supporting these activities by the Swiss Embassy, ​​which will be of interest to the general public.

The Chairman of the IMC, Mr. Xhevat Latifi, expressed the institutional readiness that within the legal mandate of the IMC, to provide the contribution of the IMC in all joint activities that can be realized in the future with the organization Democracy for Developmentn, which aim to interest of the public.
