In order to evaluate and analyze the content provided through the informative editions of the central news, the IMC has conducted the monitoring of the central news of the media, during the period of July 2021.

Given the role of the media in general, which in addition to technological developments today are accessible to the public through multiple channels of communication, and in particular the impact of news on all aspects of society in general, it is necessary to have an overview of the news published to the public by audio-visual media service providers in the Republic of Kosovo.

In this regard, the Department of Monitoring and Analysis (DMA), has monitored the central news provided by its licensees during July 2021, in order to evaluate and analyze the content provided to the citizens of the country.

Such monitoring of the central news of the media, were conducted during 2019 and 2020.

Based on the central media monitoring of the media outlets included in this monitoring report, for the monitoring period, the news was generally relevant and covered the main events of the day and mainly the political events related to the country. Reports are based on accurate sources of information and have been balanced involving two or more parties and / or sources involved in the reported event. Meanwhile, in terms of connotation during reporting, the presentation was generally neutral.
