The Independent Media Commission (IMC), on March 29, 2022, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the IMC, Mr. Xhevat Latifi, has held the sixth regular meeting for this year.

Following the approval of the agenda and minutes from the last meeting, according to the agenda, the Commission has reviewed several licensing cases. After reviewing the licensing cases, the Commission has decided as follows:

-TIK Telecommunications L.L.C - Request for licensing of OSH through the distribution operator. After reviewing the case, the Commission found that the request did not meet all the legal criteria of the IMC and decided to postpone this case to the next meeting.

-RTV Podguri - Request for licensing of the media service provider through the distribution operator. After reviewing the case, the Commission found that the request did not meet all the legal criteria of the IMC and decided to postpone this case to the next meeting.

-ARTDOKU 1, ARTKINO 1, ARTDOKU 2, ARTKINO 2, ARTKINO 3, ARTSPORT 1, ARTSPORT 2, ARTSPORT 3, ARTSPORT 4, ARTSPORT 5, ARTSPORT 6 - Request for change of the name of OSHMA through the distribution operator. After reviewing these cases and recommendations, the Commission found that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

-RADIO 038 - Recommendation for license renewal. After reviewing the recommendation for change, the Commission found that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

-NIARTI - Recommendation for licensing OSH according to IPTV platform. After reviewing the case, the Commission found that the request did not meet all the legal criteria of the IMC and decided to postpone this case to the next meeting.

The Commission has also reviewed a legal case, namely a complaint for violation of the Code of Ethics.

Case TE7 - Complaint of Mr. Exile Teplani to TE7. After reviewing the case, the Commission requested additional clarifications from the Executive Office, postponing the case for decision-making at the next meeting, until further clarifications from the Office.
