The Independent Media Commission (IMC), on April 5, 2022, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the IMC, Mr. Xhevat Latifi, has held the seventh regular meeting for this year.

Following the approval of the agenda and minutes from the last meeting, according to the agenda, the Commission has reviewed several cases of licensing. The reviewed cases concerned two applications for licensing of the distribution operator and one application for licensing of the media service provider through the distribution operator. After reviewing the recommendations of the Executive Office for the case, the Commission decided as follows:

-TIK Telecommunications L.L.C - Application for licensing of distribution operator - After reviewing the Commission found that this application has not met all the criteria, therefore the case is postponed to the next meeting.

-RTV Podguri - Decision on licensing of the media service provider through the distribution operator. After reviewing these cases and the recommendation, the Commission found that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

 -NIART - Decision on licensing the distribution operator. After reviewing these cases and the recommendation, the Commission found that the legal criteria of the IMC were met and decided to approve this request.

The Commission has also reviewed a legal case, namely a complaint for violation of the Code of Ethics.

- Case TE7- Complaint of Mr. Mërgim Teplani against TE7 - After reviewing the Commission found that TE7, by not transmitting the reaction of the complaining party Mërgim Teplani, respectively not giving the right to react has violated Article 10, paragraph 1 and 2, of the Code of Ethics KKPM-2016 / 03. TE7 is therefore sanctioned with a Reprimand in accordance with Article 30, paragraph 1, of the IMC Law, for violation of Article 10, paragraphs 1 and 2, of the Code of Ethics KKPM 2016/03 for Media Service Providers in the Republic of Kosovo.

At this meeting, the Commission also approved the Regulation on Career Advancement and Transfer of Employees to the Independent Media Commission.
