A delegation with representatives of the Independent Media Commission headed by the Chairman Mr. Xhevat Latifi, are participating in the 56th Meeting of the European Platform of Regulatory Authorities (EPRA), where IMC is a member-representative of the Republic of Kosovo.

This annual meeting is organized by the Supreme Council of Radio and Television of the Republic of Turkey (RTUK) and is held from October 12 to 14, 2022, in Antalya, Turkey.

Topics that will be subject to discussion, among others, will include issues related to disinformation, media pluralism and trust as well as the work of media regulatory authorities in a digital environment, respectively how they react to and relate to each other disinformation , plurality and trust. This session aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the current situation and its impact on consumption and public perceptions, with the aim of designing more effective solutions and interventions.

Other topics related to the media and regulators in the media environment will also be addressed, related to how regulators can help maintain a pluralistic, reliable and trustworthy media environment.
