On July 4, 2023, the Independent Media Commission participated in the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for the Supervision of Public Finances, where the audit report for the annual financial statements for 2022 was reviewed.

The summary of this report was made by the reporting member of parliament Yllza Hoti, who said that the audit of the annual financial statements of the IMC for the year 2022 resulted in no findings, therefore there is no recommendation and the annual financial statements of the IMC- present a fair and true picture.

While on the side of the IMC, the Chairman Mr. Jeton Mehmeti and other members of the IMC offered their answers to the questions of the deputies during the review of the audit report of the financial statements of the IMC.

According to the report of the National Audit Office (NAO), the annual financial statements of the IMC for the year 2022, no violations were found and the report resulted in no findings, therefore there is no recommendation for the institution.

Also, in the audit report of the annual financial statements for the year 2022, the progress in the implementation of the recommendations of the previous year, i.e. for the financial year 2021, was included, where there was only one recommendation which was fulfilled during the year 2022.
