At the request of the Faculty of Journalism and Communication from the AAB University College, the Deputy Chief Executive of the IMC, Mr. Frauk Rexhaj, on November 23, 2023, held a lecture on the topic "The role of the IMC in the field of media in Kosovo".

Second and third year students of the Faculty of Mass Communication at AAB College were part of the lecture. The topic of this lecture was "Mission, role and responsibilities of the IMC".

Students who are on their way to becoming young journalists had great interest in the work of the IMC. Mr. Rexhaj presented in detail the organizational structure of the IMC, the institutional mandate and mission, the organization of the Executive Office in the departments and the way of functioning. He also explained about the forms of making complaints, where any citizen who wants to file a complaint and considers that the ethical rules have been violated by the media, can submit it on the website of the IMC, by email or even physically at the office of the IMC. of. Complaints are then examined according to the legal procedure and deadlines, and the parties will be offered an answer to the complaint claims.

The students, who were in large numbers, had various questions about the initiatives that exist for online media and their content, the experiences they have with the non-compliance of the rules by the media, the sanctions that are imposed on the media in accordance with the violations they commit, the restrictions that should be taken into account by the media and other topics for the work of the media in relation to the regulator.
